About Guben
Guben is a town at the Lusatian Neisse River inside the nation of Brandenburg, Germany. Located in the Spree Neisse district, Guben has a populace of 20,049. Along with Frankfurt and Gorlitz, Guben is a divided city at the border among Germany and Poland, having been separated into Guben and Gubin in 1945 by means of the Oder Neisse line. Guben started out to expand around 1200 as a change and market on the roads among Leipzig and Poznan and among Gorlitz and Frankfurt.
