About Gallery Scanning In Leipzig
If you are interested in art and sculpture of Germany, there is hardly any place better than Leipzig. The city is home to one of the oldest and largest collection of priceless bourgeois art in Germany. Founded back in 1848 with about a hundred pieces of art belonging to that era, this gallery has seen lots of ups and downs and now sits pretty in Sachsenplatz with a collection of some 5000 paintings and sculptures representing the late Middle Ages to the present times. These pieces include works of Bernhard Heisig, Werner Tbke, Wolfgang Mattheuer, Neo Rauch und Daniel Richter. The Sparkasse Leipzig is a home to regional art after the second World War. Another place to visit is the Leipzig Cotton Mill which is transformed into a gallery with works of several artists.
