About Friedewald
Friedewald is a community in Hersfeld-Rotenburg region in eastern Hesse, Germany, straightforwardly east of Bad Hersfeld. The people group lies in the limit zone between the Kuppen Rhon and Seulingswald ranges. Friedewald lies on the watershed between the Fulda and the Werra, and at the foot of the Dreienberg, which is among the northernmost exceptions of the Rhon. Friedewald outskirts in the north on the networks of Ronshausen and Wildeck, in the east on the town of Heringen and the network of Philippsthal, in the southeast on the network of Hohenroda, in the south on the network of Schenklengsfeld and in the west on the town of Bad Hersfeld and the network of Ludwigsau.
The Amt of Friedewald with market rights and purview had its first narrative notice in 1392, as did the network itself in 1430. An abbot's manor remained here as right on time as 1312, which as a fief of the Hersfeld Abbey was offered over to the Landgraves of Hesse. The mansion is accepted to have been worked to look out for the exchange street called Kurze Hessen, which kept running from Frankfurt to Leipzig.
