About Europa Rosarium
The Europa Rosarium in Sangerhausen has the biggest collection of roses in the global. Today, more than 8600 species of roses and rose varieties, over 57 rose types a complete of approximately 80,000 rose bushes are planted on a place of 13 hectares. Among them are approximately 500 distinct species and sorts of wild roses. After 5 years, the Rosarium Sangerhausen on an area of 1.5 hectares on July 3, 1903 was made accessible to the Congress of German Rose Friends to the general public.
