About Dresden Transport Museum

Situated in the core of the Old Town of Dresden, opposite the Frauenkirche church, it has been lodging the Dresden Transport Museum since 1956. The recorded Renaissance working of 1591 has been associated with transport since its cause. Two lobbies on the building's ground floor gave a lot of room to carriages, mentors and 128 steeds. A few building adjustments took after – the last under the workmanship disapproved of King John, whose name the building has been bearing since 1876.

The Langer Gang corridor, which is now lodging the Shipping presentation, was based on an old town divider. On its outside front is the acclaimed Fürstenzug, the Princely Procession porcelain wall painting. The Langer Gang corridor connected the old Stallgebäude Stable Building with the royal residence, framing an elaborate façade confronting the Stallhof.
