Diez
About Diez
Diez is a town in Germany's Rhein-Lahn district in Rhineland-Palatinate, on the outskirts of Hesse. Diez is the managerial seat of the district of Diez. Sitting on the juncture of the Lahn and Aar waterways, the town and the zone have been occupied by people since the Stone Age. The old town is overwhelmed by an 11th century mansion, presently an adolescent inn and exhibition hall. It is the hereditary home of the House of Nassau-Dietz, which in 1815 turned into the Dutch Royal Family.
The focal point of Diez is found four miles southwest of Limburg a der Lahn and 31 miles east of Koblenz. Diez, in Rheinland-Pfalz, and the connecting city of Limburg, in the territory of Hessen, are close to the point that in present day times they have progressively converged into a solitary urban zone, in spite of the fact that they remain truly and politically particular. The low moving slopes around Diez structure some portion of the Rhenish Slate Mountains. The Lahn Valley fills in as the limit between the good countries north of the Westerwald with the timberland of Taunus ascending toward the south. This valley, the Diezer door, starts in the Limburg Lahn bowl and ascends towards Fachingen in the Lower Lahntal.
