Dahlewitz

Dahlewitz is a 2220 inhabitant district of the vacant community Blankenfelde Mahlow in the district of Teltow Flaming. Dahlewitz changed into until 25 October 2003, an impartial municipality. The name Dahlewitz is derived from the Slavic Dolovica or Dolovec, settlement inside the valley. In 1305 Margrave Hermann transferred the patronage right over the church in "Dolwitz" to the Benedictine convent Spandau. In 1318 Margrave Waldemar offered 8 hooves in Dahlewitz to Walter von Havilland, from whom they then acquired the possession of the Berlin Marienkirche.

According to the land sign in of Charles IV of 1375, the village had 50 hooves, 4 of them parish hooves, of which only 2 have been unfastened hooves.
