About Castle Tangermunde
The palace Tangermunde, additionally called Castle Tangermunde, is an incompletely protected mansion in the city of Tangermunde on the Elbe in the district of Stendal in Saxony-Anhalt. The manor was worked around 925 by Ascanian margraves. Apparently, she served to screen the outskirt at the Tangermouth in the Elbe. In 1009, the stronghold of Tangier was first referenced in a narrative of Bishop Thietmar of Merseburg. In the 10th and 11th century it was Reichsburg and verified the German Reichsgrenze on the Elbe. The city of Tangermunde was worked in the 13th century.
From the medieval mansion, the stronghold entryway, the old chancellery, the round keep "jail tower", a private pinnacle "Kapitelturm", the channel and the ring dividers around the post and primary chateau are protected. The previous Amtshaus is presently utilized as a lodging "Schlosshotel Tangermunde", it presumably remains on the establishments of the previous Palas . Next is as yet the Augustinian Monastery on the west divider protected. The manor patio fills in as an inn porch.
