Bonn Women Museum

In 1981 the official, Marianne Pitzen, and a social event of interdisciplinary working women built up the essential women's chronicled focus.

Starting at now there didn't exist any association worlwide with a comparable name or equivalent focuses.

Today the women's recorded focus can look back at more than 700 presentations. With its generally running with programs it has transformed into an association which is all around settled.

Today, the Frauenmuseum Bonn is the seat of the International Association of Women's Museums, which was set up in 2012.

Since the nearness of the women's chronicled focus, work from 3000 female skilled workers was showed up.
