About Baiersbronn
Baiersbronn is a municipality in the district of Freudenstadt in Baden-Wurttemberg in southern Germany. It is situated within the Black Forest on the Murg river. Nearby is the mountain of Rinkenkopf with its hillfort, the Rinkenwall. In its modern shape, Baiersbronn became created in the 1960s and 1970s by means of becoming a member of five municipalities. Its main enterprise is tourism. Baiersbronn is twinned with Midhurst in West Sussex, England. Reichenbach Priory, a medieval monastery constructing, is located within the village of Klosterreichenbach. Baiersbronn is famous as a centre of haute delicacies in Germany, having eight Michelin stars in general.
In 2007 Claus-Peter Lumpp, whose restaurant Bareiss is the second three-superstar eatery within the town of Baiersbronn earned his 0.33 Michelin big name. Lumpp's neighbour, Harald Wohlfahrt, of Schwarzwaldstube had joined the 3-superstar list in 1992. The final stars are held by means of Jorg Sackmann at his restaurant Schlossberg. According to the New York Times of April 2013, Baiersbronn has the identical wide variety of Michelin three-celebrity restaurants as London and twice as many as Chicago. According to the New York Times, "Baiersbronn is now on its manner to becoming recognized as the sector’s maximum unexpected restaurant capital".
