About Narikala
Likewise called the Mother Fortress of Tbilisi, Narikala is an antiquated image of Tbilisi's resistance.
The stronghold was set up in the fourth century, around the period when the city itself was founded.
The decision approach to achieve it is by link auto from Rike Park.
Or on the other hand you can stroll up from Meidan.
The perspectives over Tbilisi from the highest point of the post are superb.
Most of the dividers were worked in the eighth century by the Arab emirs, whose castle was inside the fortification.
Hence Georgians, Turks and Persians caught and fixed up Narikala, yet in 1827 an enormous blast of Russian weapons put away here destroyed the entire thing.
The Church of St Nicholas, inside the post, was revamped in the 1990s with financing from a police boss.
