Villeurbanne

Villeurbanne is a collective in the metropolis of Lyon in Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes area in eastern France. It is arranged upper east of Lyon, with which it frames the core of the 2nd biggest metropolitan zone in France after that of Paris. Villeurbanne is the 2nd biggest city in the metropolitan region. In 2013, Villeurbanne was chosen the city with the best organization of France, which draws in an ever increasing number of individuals. Its present name originates from a Gallo-Roman cultivating zone, set up at about a similar time as Lyon and known as the Villa Urbana.
