About US Naval Monument at Brest
The landmark is a rectangular rose shaded rock shaft rising 145 feet over the lower porch and 100 feet over the Cours Dajot. The World War I Naval Monument at Brest, France remains on the bulwarks of the city sitting above the harbor which was a noteworthy base of tasks for American maritime vessels amid the war.
It sits upon a German fortification complex at the rough site of the first landmark. Every one of the four sides of the landmark are designed with model of maritime intrigue. The encompassing region has been created by ABMC into an appealing park.
