About Toy Museum
The Toy Museum is a museum dedicated to toys and games from the 19th century to the present day in Colmar. It opened in 1993 out of a previous neighborhood film 1 and shows more than 1,000 toys on three dimensions of visit. In March 1985, Georges Trincot, a painter from Colmar and an authority of antique toys, and Pierre Patoor made the Association of the Animated Toy and Small Trains Museum to open a toy gallery in Colmar. Restless to enhance its gallery offer, the City of Colmar is engaged with this venture.
In 1987, the City of Colmar secures Georges Trincot's gathering. On three levels the universes combine; old toys one next to the other animation characters; From old bears to the first Barbie dolls to video recreations, Playmobil, scale models, robots and little trains, toys and diversions originate from everywhere throughout the world and have a place with various ages of kids. Interest of the historical center, a system of trains stretches out over the entire of the second floor. Substantial arrangement prepackaged games, manikin shows and video comforts.
