About Tour Pey Berland

Tour Pey Berland, named for its benefactor Pey Berland, is situated in Bordeaux at the Place Pey Berland alongside Cathédrale Saint-André. Tour Pey-Berland, the ringer tower of Saint-André church, is legitimately a standout amongst the most prominent vacation destinations in Bordeaux. Ascending the 231 stages to the main, two wooden entryways are typically kept, keeping the ringer chamber far from the overall population.

Behind Bordeaux Cathedral stands a tall pinnacle. This pinnacle is called "Tour Pey Berland" after the ecclesiastical overseer who requested its development. The pinnacle was worked between the years 1440-1500 and fills in as the principle chime tower of Bordeaux's house of prayer. The pinnacle is a fine case of the medieval gothic design which was commanding amid the time.

On the highest point of the pinnacle stands a plated statue sparkling brilliant. This is a statue of a Virgin with a tyke, known as "Notre Dame-d'Aquitaine". The statue is turned towards the locale of Medoc, which was where the diocese supervisor was conceived.
