About Safran Aeronautical and Space Museum
The Safran Aeronautical and Space Museum is a French private flying exhibition hall situated in Melun, Seine-et-Marne. Built up in May 1989 the gallery contains an extensive accumulation of notable and present day airplane motors. These motors have been created by different French motor producers, for example, Gnome et Rhone and Snecma which are currently part of the present day Safran organization. The last is the maker and director of the exhibition hall.
The fundamental displays are cylinder motors and turbojets that fueled air ship just as rocket motors utilized for airplane and shuttle. Every one of the shows were created and delivered by organizations that were in the end converged into the Safran gathering. In 1985 the Musee de l'Air et de l'Espace, Le Bourget held in excess of 1,000 memorable air motors. Snecma consented to an arrangement to permit their reclamation and future consideration.
The understanding expressed that representatives of Snecma would reestablish the motors as volunteers. In 1987 Snecma chose to make another gallery to show the reestablished motors, the exhibition hall was made on the site of its Villaroche foundation in Melun in a previous seaplane storage of 4,000 m². Initiated on 31 May 1989 the 'Relationship of Friends of the Museum Safran' deals with the exhibition hall. In 2013 the exhibition hall was extended to oblige a segment on space impetus.
