Musee Gadagne

It is an exhibition hall situated in the focal point of the Vieux Lyon, in the Saint-Jean quarter, in the fifth arrondissement of Lyon. It is made out of the Musee d'histoire de Lyon Museum of Lyon History and the Musée des marionnettes du monde Museum of world manikins.

The building was named landmark historique in 1920. It was progressively obtained by the city of Lyon in the vicinity of 1902 and 1941. After the finding of its oldness, the historical center shut in 1998 for over ten years of redesign and extension. It was re-opened on 12 June 2009.
