Musee Atger

Atger Museum consists of a very fine collection of drawings and prints from the Flemish, Italian, Dutch, German and French Schools, patiently assembled by the skilled art enthusiast, It consists thousand of drawings and some five thousand prints. The Atger Museum, located in the heart of the historical building of the Faculty of Medicine, it is the very oldest museum in Montpellier. Xavier Atger, who left it to the Faculty of medicine in the last century.
The Faculty's library has numerous precious manuscripts from the 18th and the 19th centuries.
A remarkable collection of drawings by regional and Flemish masters from the Renaissance to the 19th century.
