About Marly le Roi
Marly-le-Roi is a commune within the Yvelines branch in the Lle-de-France location in north-important France. It is placed in the western suburbs of Paris, 18.4 km from the centre of Paris. Marly-le-Roi changed into the location of the Chateau de Marly, the well-known enjoyment residence of the Sun King Louis XIV which become destroyed after the French Revolution. The Marly-le-Roi National Estate and Park now occupies plenty of the grounds of the former chateau, including restored waterways and lawns.
The population are called Marlychois or less generally Marlesiens. Marly-le-Roi is served by Marly-le-Roi station on the Transilien Paris – Saint-Lazare suburban rail line. Transilien offerings from Paris – Saint-Lazare are part of the SNCF Saint-Lazare rail community. There are corporations of Transilien lines in the Saint-Lazare zone, marked "J" and "L".
