About Lisieux Cathedral

Lisieux Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church situated in Lisieux, France. The present house of God was worked among 1170 and the center of the 13th century through the activity of Bishop Arnulf. It was the seat of the Bishop of Lisieux until the bishopric of Lisieux was abrogated under the Concordat of 1801 and converged into the Diocese of Bayeux. The building is 110 meters and is a national landmark. The west front of the structure comprises of three gateways surmounted by two towers.

The south pinnacle was worked in the 16th century and at the top bears a 17th century fleche. Braces were added toward the south face in the 15th century.
