Lille Cathedral

Lille Cathedral is a national monument. It is a Roman atholic cathedral and basilica located in Lille, France. Started in the late 19th Century, a building was not completed until 1999. The church was built to house a 12th Century statue of the Virgin Mary, to which ious miracles were attributed.A mix of gothic traditions & contemporary art, It is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin. Famous for its rose, the cathedral greets every year on its square, the departure of a traditional procession.
