Lighthouse of La Coubre

The Lighthouse of La Coubre is a beacon situated in La Tremblade, in Charente-Maritime, in France. It is 64 meters high and is the most elevated in the departement. An exhibition hall tells the historical backdrop of the diverse beacons that have existed in the area. It is conceivable to move at the top from February to November. at the north of the Gironde Estuary, near the Bonne Anse Bay. The "Pointe of La Coubre" and the sandbank separate the quiet water of the Gironde Estuary, and toward the north, the Atlantic Ocean.

It is the most noteworthy Lighthouse in Charente-Maritime and guides the boats into the estuary, dodging the sandbanks, where a ton of boats have destroyed. 100 years after the beacon was put into administration, a gallery was worked to tell the historical backdrop of the distinctive beacons that have guided the boats.
