It is raised around 1450, this pinnacle is the most established landmark in the city. The Leughenaer Tower some time ago the Dutch word leugenaar, signifying "liar" is an octagonal pinnacle 30 meters high in Dunkirk. It was worked by Jacques Desfontaines, encompassed in the eighteenth century by a stage checking the port, at that point brought up in 1814 to introduce a lamp beacon.
