Lens

Lens, Pas-de-Calais’s collective office in northern France. It is one of the essential towns of Hauts-de-France close by Lille, Valenciennes, Amiens, Roubaix, Tourcoing, Arras and Douai. The occupants are called Lensois.Because of feedback that French craftsmanship and culture is constrained to Paris, the Ministry of Culture and the Louver Directorate propelled an arrangement, in 2003, to fabricate a Louver satellite exhibition hall in one of the 22 Regions of France. Just the Nord pas de Calais connected for the gallery and proposed six urban areas: Lille, Lens, Valenciennes, Calais, Béthune and Boulogne-sur-Mer. In 2004, Jean-Pierre Raffarin, at that point French Prime Minister, reported Lens as the beneficiary city.
