Le Raincy is a cooperative in the eastern rural areas of Paris, France. It is found 13.2 km from the focal point of Paris. Le Raincy is a sub prefecture of the Seine-Saint-Denis division and the seat of the Arrondissement of Le Raincy. Its character has made it known as le Neuilly de la Seine-Saint-Denis. In the 17th and 18th century, Raincy was referred to principally as area of the Chateau du Raincy, presently crushed. The collective of Le Raincy was made on 20 May 1869 by disconnecting a piece of the domain of Livry-Gargan and consolidating it with a piece of the region of Clichy-sous-Bois and a little piece of the region of Gagny.
