About Jardin Botanique du col de Saverne
The Jardin botanique du col de Saverne, otherwise called the Jardin botanique de Saverne, is a botanical garden and arboretum situated along the Col de Saverne close Saverne, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France. It is open on ends of the week, and every day in the hotter months; a confirmation expense is charged. The garden was built up in 1931 by naturalists including botanist Emile Walter. Since 1965 it has been together overseen by the Universite Louis Pasteur de Strasbourg, the town of Saverne, and the greenery enclosure relationship; in 2003 the Region Alsace likewise turned into an accomplice.
The garden is situated on the Saverne Pass slope at a height of 335 meters, and composed into parts by plant grouping.
