Hot Fountain

It is together with its Roman remnants is protected as a French "landmark historique". It's stopped by a porch finished in 1818 amid Louis XVIII's rule, and the entire site. On a crisp day you can see the water vapor drifting off Dax's hot wellspring in the focal point of town. The water turns out at 64°C, and for many years was utilized by local people to cook food.

One story that beholds back to the Roman time frame is the story of a legionary's debilitated pooch that was cured of its ailment in the wake of being tossed into the Adour River and drinking these waters. There's a statue on Rue Saint-Vincent of the officer and his cheerful canine. The spring is still asserted to have a scope of wellbeing giving properties, evidently helping aspiratory and joint objections.
