About Hericourt
Hericourt is a commune in the Haute-Saone division in the locale of Bourgogne-Franche-Comte in eastern France. Hericourt is the second most populated city in the office after Vesoul. In the old town, a few locales merit a visit, similar to the Grosse Tour, a remainder of the thirteenth century Hericourt braced stronghold or the bailiff's home. Nicknamed the Petit-Chateau, the last dates from the principal half of the 16th century, and is currently incorporated into St. Joseph's College. Despite everything it has a winding staircase and a medieval corridor.
The sanctuary happens in the remaining parts of an old Catholic church of the 11th century devoted to St. Christopher. Blending amicably Romanesque and Gothic styles, she facilitated for a period the two factions in the 18th century. While walking, don't miss the wellspring of Savourot, enrolled with the Historical Monuments, and the house of prayer of Saint-Valbert. It is likewise conceivable to find in Grand-Pre, the last manufacturing plant smokestack, a remnant of the past turning factories and weaving of Hericourt. Introduced in the mid 1920s, the Minal Museum is housed in a neoclassical block and stone structure. It currently has brief shows just as accumulations of artistic creations, gems, flatware and furniture acquired from Heloise Minal.
