About Harnes
Harnes is a commune within the Pas-de-Calais department within the Haunts de France location of France. First recorded as Hamas, the town changed into called Harness till, in the 12th century, while its gift spelling was used. It’s possible that the name comes from the Flemish Hearn that means Marsh.
