Hall des Sources
About Hall des Sources
In the north of the recreation center is a refined metal and glass structure where the greater part of Vichy's six drinkable springs can be tasted and packaged. In this rich yet scary place you may feel you're rubbing shoulders with the phantoms of Victorian magnates.
The springs all keep running from their taps at ious temperatures: Grille and Chomel rise at more than 40°C and you may be put off by the solid sulphuric smell. There's unmistakable data about the temperature and mineral substance of each spring, and you can even observe the real wellsprings of the Grille and Chomel springs, which are encased in glass.
