About Grand Couronne
Grand-Couronne is a collective in the Seine-Maritime division in the Normandy area in northern France. Seine-Maritime is a branch of France in the Normandy locale of northern France. It is arranged on the northern shore of France, at the mouth of the Seine, and incorporates the urban areas of Rouen and Le Havre. Until 1955 it was named Seine-Inferieure. A little rural town with a gigantic compartment port and impressive light industry arranged by the banks of the waterway Seine, nearly 11 km south of the focal point of Rouen, at the intersection of the D938, D3 and the D13 streets. The A13 autoroute goes through the southern segment of the collective region.
Spots of intrigue:
• A menhir in Milthuit woods, proof of the nearness of a neolithic populace.
• The congregation of St.Martin, dating from the 14th century.
• The congregation of St.Antoine, dating from the 19th century.
• The estate of Gresil, a chateau is a villa or home of the master of the house or a nation place of respectability or upper class, with or without strongholds, initially and still most as often as possible in French-talking locales.
• The remaining parts of a Benedictine monastery.
