Chateau de Chavaniac

The Chateau de Chavaniac is a fortified manor house of eighteen rooms supplied in the Louis XIII fashion positioned in Chavaniac Lafayette, Haute Loire, in Auvergne, France. Flanked through towers of black stone, it was built inside the 14th century and became the birthplace of General Lafayette in 1757. In 1916, a collection of rich philanthropists led through Scottish born American industrialist John C. Moffat purchased the fort to function a center of philanthropy for human beings stricken by World War I. The Chateau de Chavaniac became built inside the 14th century. It was partly destroyed via a fire in 1701. General Lafayette changed into born here in 1757.
