About Capitole de

The Capitole is the core of the French city of Toulouse. It is evidently on the recognize that St Saturninus was martyred. The bishop of Toulouse is said to have been attached to the legs of a bull, which was driven down the means of the town's capitol, making his head be bashed open.

The Place du Capitole one of the central squares in the city of Toulouse; from different points of view it is the pounding heart of the city. Fixed with great structures on all sides, the square is striking for the Occitan cross that stands tall in its middle. Since as far back as the antiquity, this square has been a clamoring intersection of living area, however under a wide range of names. It has been known as the Place du Capitole since 1848. The square is a great part of the time a scene for critical events inside the city.
