About Alluye Hotel
The Alluye Hotel is a hotel particulier in Blois, Loir-et-Cher, France. Worked for Florimond Robertet when he was secretary and public accountant to Louis XII, the home bears the name of his barony of Alluyes. On Rue Saint-Honore close Blois Cathedral and the Chateau de Blois, it is currently altogether littler than it was initially as the north and west wings were demolished between the 17th and 19th century.
Worked between 1498 or 1500 and 1508, the hotel particular is one of the principal instances of Renaissance design in Blois. Its facades comprise of Gothic, French Renaissance and Italian Renaissance design. The Alluye Hotel was claimed by the Robertet family from 1508 until 1606 preceding experiencing regular changes in possession; since 2007, it has been partitioned into ten lofts and a vast office.
Because of its proprietorship changes the structure has been extensively modified, with just the east and south wings holding their unique appearance. Annihilation of the west wing started amid the 17th century, and the north wing was demolished in 1812. The Alluye Hotel was delegated a landmark historique on 6 November 1929, and its patio has been available to people in general on European Heritage Days since 2011.
