About Raahe

Raahe is a town on the shorelines of the North Sea, at the shores of the Bothnian Bay. Raahe is placed in the western part of Northern Ostrobothnia and is the middle of the Raahe area. Count Peter Brahe based the town bearing his name in 1649 to promote trade. Raahe advanced into a prime port, faculty and industrial city.
