About Nastola
Nastola is a former Finnish municipality in Lahti, placed in the province of Paijat Hame. It became the east border vicinity of Lahti. On December 31, 2015, 14,835 inhabitants lived in Nastola and the floor location of the National Land Survey of Finland become 362.86 km², of which 324.18 km² become land and the rest 38.68 km² inland waters. The neighboring municipalities of Nastola have been Asikkala, Heinola, Hollola, Iitti, Lahti and Orimattila. Nastola municipal fish is Pasuri.
In the village of Ruuhijarvi, a prehistoric burial ground has been found, from which the artefacts are timed to 1200. Immila village has discovered a 1000 year vintage handbag with English, German and Scandinavian money. Judging by way of the similarities of names, Nastola has obtained permanent residents of the Vanaja region from Sydan Hame, but they've also come from Hollola and Asikkala. In 1478, Nastola was part of Uusikkyla's widespread administrative headquarters, however in the following century it belonged to the quarters of Ruusijarvi and Urajarvi, the executive head of Asikkala; the latter protected the villages of Vanaja and Pyhanta. In 1571 there have been 81 houses in Nastola.
