Market Square

The Market Square is a central rectangular in Helsinki, Finland. It is located in principal Helsinki, on the east quit of Esplanadi and bordering the Baltic Sea to the south and Katajanokka to the east. HSL continues a year round ferry hyperlink from Market Square to Suomenlinna and within the summer season there also are personal corporations providing ferry cruises, each to Suomenlinna and to different nearby islands.

The Presidential Palace and Helsinki City Hall are positioned adjacent to Market Square. From spring to autumn, the Market Square is bustling with pastime with vendors selling fresh Finnish meals and souvenirs. There are also many outdoor cafes on the rectangular. Some cafes also offer meat pastries. The top of the square's popularity is in early October, when the once a year Helsinki herring market starts off evolved. A long lifestyle at the Market Square is a display of old American motors on the first Friday of every month. Any motorist with a hobby in old American automobiles may also participate in the display.
