Lempaala

Lempaala is a municipality in Finland, located in the Pirkanmaa Province and a part of the Tampere Region. The neighboring municipalities of Lempaala are Akaa, Kangasala, Pirkkala, Tampere, Valkeakoski and Vesilahti. Lempaala is the southern neighbor of Tampere. The municipality has 23, 204 population, with a place of 307.06 km², of which 12.2% or 37.51 km² of water. The population density is 86.08 inhabitants, km². Lempaala was at first part of the Greater Pirkkala Church Guard founded inside the 13th century, consisting of Kangasala, Messukyla, Ylojarvi and Vesilahti. Over time, Vesilahti and Lempaala divorced from this grandfather into an impartial region with middle in Vesilahti.
