About Tugob Festival
It is a festival of thanksgiving. Exuberant celebration music resounded in the demeanor of Ormoc City on Oct. 20 to 22, as the city commended the second Tugob Festival. Clad in brilliant clothing types, the celebration members stepped their feet on the ground, raised their arms, slapped their thighs, applauded and yelled as one as they expressed gratitude toward the Lord for a plentiful reap and for giving the city a iety of characteristic resources. Tugob is a Visayan word that implies abundant or plenteous. Occupants of Ormoc City in the western piece of Leyte communicate in Cebuano, not at all like those in the east who speak Waray. Around a thousand Ormocanon happy producers joined the celebration, which was one of the features of the current year's week-long festival of the 34th Adlaw sa Ormoc.
Ten contingents took part in the celebration.
