Pyestang Tugak
About Pyestang Tugak
In 2003 the "Pasteang Tugak" ceremony was organized to promote ious Cup frog frog traditions. The word "Tugak" Kapapangan is for frog and yes there are stars of the frog show. The celebrations of this year began from October 12, to October 15, . Pumpanga is in the grip of rice, frogs grow in abundance in this type of environment, and this festival shows the traditional way of catching frogs with a bamboo stick and a line with earth called "paduasan".
This program also demonstrates ious culinary methods in the preparation of frogs, but Kapplangan is more famous with the taste of "Betute" or filled frog. Frog stomach is filled with dried frog meat with herbs and spices and then deep fried. Do not be informed by this dish, because they say that frogs taste like chicken but better and agree with it. This year's cooking event was not included in the program. The committee is giving ammunition for some time to propagate because their environment is being reduced due to urbanization of the city. The festival includes frog races, frog thieves, and the last day of the program was the road dance and mascot dress competition organized in Robinson Starmill.
Participants are from San Fernando City's ious schools. The hot summer did not interrupt the Cupangan sentiment. Sweat flows like rain drops on your face, but still their smiles and passion are prevalent. The Street Dance Competition impressed with the costumes and efforts made by each participant. Hopefully one day Pyongyang Tugak will become one of the most sought after festivals in the country.
