About National Independence Day

This National Independence Day is celebrated on 9 November each year. If 9 November falls on a weekday, the accompanying working day will be a holiday. The occasion was set up to praise the commemoration of Cambodia's autonomy from France on 9 November 1953 and is Cambodia's national occasion.
