About Mahindra Kabira Festival

 

The fourth version of the Mahindra Kabira Festival, to be held between 22-24th November , will once more encourage an experience of intangible beauty and musical depth. The idea behind Kabira is to ceremonial dinner one’s senses and spirit on the calm within the chaos of the world’s oldest city and experience that intangible “oneness amongst range” preached by using Kabir, through the unequalled energy of track, literature and the arts.

 

Taking off from the memorable past three editions, the competition celebrates the spirit of Kabir and the superb simplicity of his philosophy and espouses the lyrical aspect of his teachings within a satisfying -day programme. Imagine the electricity of the tune as they chime with the peal of ancient temple bells in a town steeped in records, song, art, mysticism and faith, a metropolis which incorporates multitudes and allows the happy co-existence of the arts and the religious. This is the nice events.
