About Kalidas Samman

Veteran theater performer executive Ram Gopal Bajaj will be congratulated with Kalidas Samman, initiated by the Madhya Pradesh government, for his work in the field of theater. The honor will be given within the sight of dignitaries at the All India Kalidas Festival in Ujjain on October 31. Bajaj, a previous Director of the National School of Drama NSD, feels respected. "I am 77 currently, so there's less time left that a lift would matter... I will get this honor in Ujjain," he told IANS over telephone from Lonavala where he lives. He said he had dallied with the Sanskrit essayist Kalidasa's works ious circumstances throughout his life. "In 1975, in Ujjain, we completed a play on Kalidasa at a celebration.

After that as well, I have been accomplishing something or the other regarding the matter. It was a play in light of Kalidasa's life. The honor by his name has been given to our masters throughout the years. "In this way, getting such a honor is a respect and a pleased minute. The way that I got it at the fourth phase of my life, at this age... Presently I am again contemplating the play... Possibly I accomplish something on it once more, despite the fact that for me to complete a live theater generation at this age isn't so natural," he included.
