About Jhanda Fair

Jhanda reasonable is a yearly reasonable celebrated in Dehradun city of Uttarakhand state and took an interest by hundred a huge number of individuals from different regions of India. Master Ram Rai was the child of Sikh Guru Har Rai from Punjab. Master Har Rai ousted Ram Rai from Punjab in 1699 for the marvels he performed in Mughal King Aurangzed's court. Smash Rai went to the Doon city of Uttarakhand area and built up a 'Dera'. Dera implies settlement. The city got its name Dehradun after that. Master Ram Rai assembled a Gurudwara named Guru Ram Rai Durbar in the core of the city and lifted a banner jhanda on it.
