About Church of Saint George
The Church of Saint George is considered one of 11 rock-hewn monolithic churches in Lalibela, a city within the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Originally named Roha, the ancient and non secular web page become named Lalibela after the King Gebre Mesqel Lalibela of the Zagwe dynasty, who commissioned its construction.
