About Abuna Yemata Guh
Abuna Yemata Guh is a monolithic church placed within the Hawzen woreda of the Tigray Region, Ethiopia. It is located at a height of 2,580 metres and needs to be climbed strolling to reach. It is great for its dome and wall paintings courting again to the 5th century and its architecture.
The church is one of the 35-unusual rock-hewn churches, the largest attention anywhere in Ethiopia. It is located within the erstwhile Gar'alta woreda.
