About Pyramids of Giza

Cairo's most prevalent fascination, the Pyramids of Giza, draw a great many guests consistently. As one of the first Seven Wonders of the World, these pyramids have stood the trial of time, staying in place for about 4,500 years.

You'll discover three essential pyramids, the best known being the Great Pyramid of Khufu – named after the Fourth Dynasty pharaoh covered there. Khafre, Khufu's child, lies buried in the close-by Pyramid of Khafre. The third structure, the Pyramid of Menkaure, remains as the littlest of the Pyramids of Giza and was developed by Khafre's successor to the royal position, Menkaure.
