Luxor Museum

This awesome historical center has a well-picked and splendidly showed and clarified accumulation of ancient pieces dating from the finish of the Old Kingdom directly through to the Mamluk period, for the most part, assembled from the Theban sanctuaries and necropolis.

The ticket value puts off many, however, don't let that stop you: this is a standout amongst the most compensating sights in Luxor and extraordinary compared to other exhibition halls in Egypt.

The ground-floor exhibition has a few artful culminations, including a very much saved limestone help of Tuthmosis III No 140, an impeccably cut statue of Tuthmosis III in greywacke from the Temple of Karnak No 2, an alabaster figure of Amenhotep III secured by the considerable crocodile god Sobek .
