Anfushi

The tomb deceives the south of the esplanade prompting the royal residence of "Ras el-Tin" and comprises of five tombs, all dating from the main portion of the third century.

They were found in 1901 and 1921. The first and most momentous of the tombs is come to by method for a vaulted stairway cut out of the stone, driving down into a square yard which is available to the sky and gives access to impersonating alabaster and marble.

The vaulted roof of the burial service chamber is enriched with geometric "trompe l'oeil" outlines reminiscent of the shrouded roof in certain old estates.

The burial service themes are a case of the joined impact of Greek craftsmanship and the customary types of Egyptian expressions.
