About El Pailon Del Diablo ? Banos
For some reason, this breathtaking waterfall is also called 'The Devil's Cauldron'; though the waterfall and the surrounding area is nothing less than a piece of paradise. Covered with thick forest from all sides, a visit to El Paln del Diablo waterfall also doubles up as a birdwatching tour as one can see a number of bird species in the woods. The 600 feet high fall is extremely powerful and is situated at the end of a long trail through the forest which also has a restaurant on the way. You can hear the roar of the waterfall from a long way off. The best time to visit the waterfall is just after the monsoons.
